Book of Condolence Available for Signing at Consulate General of Japan in Detroit

On behalf of the Japanese people and the Government of Japan, Mr. Kuninori Matsuda, Consul General of Japan in Detroit, wishes to convey his continued gratitude to those who have expressed sympathy for the earthquake and tsunami victims in Japan.

Furthermore, Consul General Matsuda announces that a Book of Condolence will be made available in the lobby of the Consulate General of Japan in Detroit. 

Anyone interested in signing the Book of Condolence is welcome to visit the consulate lobby from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. and 1:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. on March 17^th, 18^th, 22^nd, and 23^rd.

Upon entering the GM Renaissance Center, proceed to the 400 Tower and take the escalator to Level 2.  At the Level 2 welcome counter, visitors are required to show ID and obtain an elevator pass, before proceeding to the consulate office on 16th Floor.
