JANO’s Legal Entity and Receipt of Donation for the 2011 Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund

On behalf of Japanese Association of Northeast Ohio (JANO), I, Fukuo Hashimoto, would like to thank you very much for your heartfelt support for the Japanese Earthquake and Tunami Relief Fund.

JANO’s legal entity is 501(c)4 for the tax purpose, thus JANO has come to the complete agreement with Japanese Language School of Cleveland (JLSC) whose legal entity is 501(c)3 that JLSC accepts all of your donation on behalf of JANO and designates the entire fund to the people suffering from the devastation in the most effective way, in consultation with Consulate of Japan at Detroit. For this reason, the receipt of your fund is hereby issued by JLSC (501(c)3). Your donation will qualify for tax deduction as the money goes to a 501(c)3 entity.
