【アメリカサバイバル】Echeckと複数年有効レジストレーションについて

現在、オハイオでは車両のレジストレーション更新の際、有効期限を1年〜5年の中から選べます。
Echeck対象カウンティー（Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit）にお住まいの場合、複数年レジストレーション・スティッカーが有効であってもEcheckを対象年に受ける必要があります。

奇数年モデルの車両は、奇数年、偶数年モデルは偶数年にEcheckを受けます。
ただし新車の場合、モデル年数プラス6 (2025年に4→6に変更）の年に最初のEcheckを受けることになります。プラグインでないハイブリッド車の場合は、モデル年数プラス7になります。
例：2023年式車両は、2029年、2031年、2033年、2036年〜が該当年です。

例えば、2023年式車両のレジストレーションを更新する際、2年間有効を選択するとします。レジストレーションは2025年まで有効、Echeckは2029年のレジストレーションの日付（月と日）まで受ける必要はありません。対象年にEcheckを受けなかった場合は、20日Noticeのお知らせ（以下英文参照）が届くそうなので急ぎ受けに行くことになります。

Multi-Year Registrations

• Registrants who live in an E-Check county are eligible for a multi-year registration from two to five years.
• E-Check is still required for qualifying vehicles.
• Registrants with an E-Check extension must comply with the extension requirements.
• E-Check county residents who do not comply with E-Check requirements are subject to registration suspension and plate confiscation.

If a multi-year vehicle does not comply by their registration date of the required year, the BMV will send a 20-day notice of suspension to have your vehicle come into compliance or your registration will be suspended.
